I've written several of these of late. They just come out angry. Maybe at the last minute there will be some beauty. But considering who is around me to read them it's almost a waste of said beauty. The anger is more apt.

- ggm 7y agoBrecht was however, fundamentally an optimist. Consider "in praise of communism". You could have pointed to woodcuts by Masreel if you really wanted to lower the mood. More depressing art of the working poor I cannot think of, Doré aside.

- SirLuxuryYacht 7y agoI noticed that pretty much all referenced some natural object like the moon or trees or field or river. I'm just another stranger on the internet but I think you could try the same. Pissed off cherry blossoms doesn't seem like a real thing that exists.
