I have a girlfriend/soon to be wife that can't really go with me and I'd feel really bad stepping out of her life for a few months.
I guess it could be something where I take a few months off and do a few days at home and then a week or so on the road and then a few days at home, etc.
- sickygnar 7y agoMy girlfriend (now wife) went with me... she was the one that pushed me to do it, otherwise I probably wouldn't have done it myself. It took a lot of convincing. She was WFH so it didn't disrupt either of our work lives really. The stars aligned, most people don't have the opportunity.
