- azazqadir 10y agoGold, silver or copper are used in electronic devices as a conductor. Your device should have one as well, whether in gold or silver, depends on the makers. But the quantity of the metal used might not be as much as you are thinking.
- gallerytungsten 10y agoGold is found on printed circuit boards and components, typically used to electroplate connectors, so that they won't fail due to corrosion.

- madeofpalk 10y agoI'm not sure if sarcasm or not, but that's the point. If they got wet enough to 'trip', then enlighten damage could have been done to internal components to void your warranty anyway.
