   Hardware aside, does anyone who was used to OS X and its app ecosystem's polish really find Linux or Windows that much better? I'd miss Photoshop, Lightroom, Sequel Pro, iTerm 2, Homebrew, Sketch, Transmit, Alfred, Reeder, Keynote

   I'd like something that doesn't show apps when they are brand new, but features ones that stand the test of (a little bit of) time and have proven useful beyond the initial launch phase. Maybe it's just me getting older...

   I wonder if accelerometer data would be useful to determine road quality? It may help cash strapped cities like here in Toledo prioritize the bumpiest roads to fix.

    We use Jenkins for a cron-replacement too. We've noticed all the benefits you mention plus it's dead easy for others in the organization to (re)run tasks, even with different parameters.

    Any tips for getting a fairly significant amount of data (50TB) from a local NAS to Google quicker than a 5mbps upstream will allow? Amazon has Import/Export which lets you ship drives, is this the best option?
