got to admit, as a prank it's pretty funny. fwiw, it's trivially easy to block javascript per site today with uBlock Origin. Firefox + UBlock Origin really is the panacea of a de-shittified web.

internally uses the same root command btw. in fact this recently changed for Tahoe (as the article mentions). started out as a shell script but switched to a go binary (which is what is linked).

i have started to reclaim my em dashes by adding spaces around them. if you notice most AI text tacks them on right next to the sentence fragment. add surrounding spaces to the dash ! it's grammatically correct (but typically uncommon)

fair point. but i'm not proficient != i don't know (i.e. i have worked on javascript many moons ago, but i wouldn't consider myself an expert at it today). i like to think i can still spot unmaintainable vs maintainable code

Mozilla has had missteps for sure (like almost every other browser company). but the MVP is uBO (which Firefox still allows). Even if Firefox adds that in by default (which suck), uBO allows you to block outgoing traffic to these 3rd party
