I use meetup.com for several meetups. This is not good. I'm really looking forward to finding out how they plan to mitigate this kind of issue in the future, b/c there has to be a way.

Where do they say military grade? That's always a bit of a red flag for me.

I think I would too. I like the idea. Not sure about calling it Hemingway, because I am a huge fan of the writer, but I would like to have something like this available for Sublime. It might have to deal with markdown.

I don't know if I believe that Guido Van Rossum has to spend 50% of his time on not making python better, but perhaps it's true. Isn't he at dropbox now as well?

I think it's interesting that he says if it gets to this point then it's your fault, but then doesn't say fire yourself. ;)

Interesting article linked in that post about needing new experiences to slow down the perception of time.

If I could only work 3 days a week...I don't know where we got Saturday and Sunday from, should look it up, but thank goodness for those at least.

For some reason this blows my mind. Man, it would be so cool to own the paper that paid the guys that broke Watergate. But it seems so...weird that it would be Bezos. I'd love to see the first meeting.

I love ansible. Very straightforward to use--only problem is it's moving so fast I can't keep up. :) Good problem to have though. It's also the first open source project I've committed code to. Huge fan. I use it to run

Anyone know where I could get one around Santa Clara? As a Canadian I don't think I can buy one in Canada. But I have to go to Santa Clara for the Open Compute summit. I checked the nearest best buys but nothing.

Even the title shows how ridiculous this "article" is. Shelf life of a techie? Are they even people?

I am starting an "enterprise" software company. I agree that often enterprise software is complete garbage, and the reasons organizations purchase said software is not because it is actually good, or even does what its supposed to. But I do

Not an apple fanboi, but really happy about super resolution displays...sick of 24" HD displays. HD is for TVs.

Being able to act as a FC target could be pretty powerful as well. I wish I could do that now on my linux boxes...could create a nice little storage network.

Hard drive sizes seem to be mostly driven by consumer devices which are mostly moving to smaller SSD. Not saying 60TB drives won't happen, just not sure there is actually going to be a consumer market for them.

I have a few concerns about the author generally speaking, but this particular article I like because I think it's good advice to find customers sooner rather than later. :)
