You mean it is more akin to those grills you position to control your AC pushing the air in a certain direction. But with just one surface you get the AoA too high problem. Hell I am gonna stick my hand out next time in a car (being safe ab

There is a trope about how much you owe and thus whose problem it is.

You probably improved alot. Is there an objective test. If that test can be rescaled by a function to linear based on average person’s time even better.

60TB with each request for 1Mb say would be 60000000 visitors. So guess this is possible but hell of unlikely.

I think fly/netlify/vercel/render etc. get a decent enough flak on here for costs and/or reliability. The average HNer seems to be recommending colocating your physical server :-)

Yes if a corporation says I owe them $100k I will lose sleep. Even if they don’t have my card details.

Lol I just deleted the account (surprisingly easy). Since I didn’t have a custom domain, just let it die for now.

I like this idea. Especially as you can easily download files from Github as zip in the first place. Download the zip, then serve.

Good point. More precisely I should say does Netflix help you become more productive! They definitely want you to have more free time.

How does it compare with static electricity at that voltage? Which I assume is harmless enough. Would this also affect m mammals, including us then?

Improving productivity isn’t perfectly aligned with what is good for tech stocks. Does Netflix want you to be more productive? Meta? Google and Amazon maybe.

To a point. Who wants to own stocks in a country with hyperinflation. Of course this is a nitpick because it is unlikely to happen to the US anytime soon.

Another angle is the stock market is tech so how is centralised tech dominance doing? Is EEE going well?

Not sure. You wont get the best people by being cheap. If FAANGs are making monstrous profit they don’t want to rock the talent boat. If you have a company making crazy profit and the people making that happen get paid 5 figures those peopl

Well that is just one aspect of Devops and CI/CD is definitely an art unto itself. I think there are a lot of developers who have never set up something from scratch like that for more than a toy.

I think people compare the best possible CSS with Tailwind rather than comparing what actually gets done with actual Tailwind.

This is where I think cloud architecture / devops is a good route. It is complementary and you wont get fired for knowing how to CI/CD and deploy your thing but you can learn it while still doing web dev. You may never need to go
