Afaik the period thing is a Gmail thing while the plus thing is in the RFC. However it appears the IAB UID2 README says to only normalize pluses/periods for gmail.com addresses: https://github.com/IABTechLab/uid2do

I like the analogy. I never heard it before now, but I instantly understood what I think it meant: build something that is harder to live without. I have nothing to back this up but I’d think most people think of a vitamin as easier to live

I spent the pandemic in a tiny apartment. Did laundry in the tub for a while (no w/d). Finding space to hang sheets to dry was a fun challenge. Quickly developed an appreciation for easy to wash and hard-to-stink-up items like singlets

I did and I also deleted my account and data. I’ll probably get an Apple Watch but I’d prefer something eink and “dumber” with just clock, heartrate, steps, stairs and GPS, no accounts and no forced uploading to their servers would be ideal
