That example you chose was a bit meta (perhaps intentionally so). I watched "Good Copy, Bad Copy" (which was fantastic by the way) and Tecno Brega is typically created by mashing up several popular songs into one. So yes, the artists are us

To underscore the weirness of the Android Markeplace, when you search for chomp, the actual app with the name of "Chomp" appears under about 6 or 7 versions of some game called "Hungry Shark"

Roku if all you want to watch is netflix and some other streaming services (which I can't enumerate right now). Boxee if you'd like to watch a lot of local content as well streamed over your network. I ended up choosing Boxee the day after

Second. I use twitdroyd (mostly for reading tweets), but I'd be pretty pissed if they actively modify my tweets. I wish the article would be more specific that.

I really could have used this tutorial a few months ago. I made a bit of a toy node/backbone app. My first iteration attempted to unify the models across frontend and backend, unit testing them, etc, but it ended up being so kludgy and ha

There's a free (though probably less featureful) app for Windows I've used for years called Windirstat that does a similar job, albeit while looking much uglier.

Unless your provider is anything like mine, Sprint. They load your phone down after each update with apps you don't want (Nascar, Blockbuster, NFL) which cannot be uninstalled without rooting and seem to randomly just appear in running task

Your last sentence is pretty flawed/ad-hominem. That being said, I do agree in the sense that the comment at the end of the post annoyed me and degraded the value of the article. Certainly, blog about whatever you want, but if you just pick

It's trivial features like this that seriously gets me to switch. The main reason why I switched to duckduckgo wasn't the privacy or better results, it was vi-like bindings. On that topic, consider this additional binding scheme that DDG us

There are some subtle effects with Comic Sans that don't get considered, even by big companies. For example, my old phone was a Samsung Blackjack II running Windows Mobile. Ignoring the hassle of having to download the upgrade to WM as a zi

I think some of this has to do with proliferation of ad-blocking software (I hardly know anyone anymore who doesn't run AdBlocker Plus or an analog thereof), but perhaps even more to do with a more savvy audience. Ads were once an avoidable

Click on the Plans and Pricing page. No mention of Plans nor Pricing other than saying I can try it for free (unless it's in the 2:50 long video that I don't want to watch). I see this happen a lot on these service-based sites and it never

Considering this is coming from the University of Glasgow, I wonder what sort of cool stuff they might be doing with this technology with Haskell/GHC.

This seems like it would be huge for the Node.js people. The next big milestone for V8 for node has to be the GC issues that have been wreaking havoc on node apps under high load.

You beat me to it. There are a ton of different energy drinks that taste the same to me as Red Bull but it in no way has a lemon flavor. I don't even think Sprite has that much of a lemon flavor. It has always tasted more like grapefruit. M

It's interesting to see these icons and actually recognize what sites already use them. For example, I believe OKCupid uses several of these icons in their GUI such as the report flag, edit, views, etc.

I sometimes log into MySpace just to see how bad it still is. Their frontend developers still don't appear to care about user experience or have any design sense. They've smattered the site with ajax, rollovers, effects, etc, and as usual t
