No, this is a new feature for the display manager. Previously in Ubuntu (with unity) the window would be the whole window area would get covered by an orange transparent film, and it was the orange film that would be resized. The actual win

Personally I disagree. Maybe as options, but not by default. The bar looks nice because of its simplicity. Adding a bunch of addon attachments would ruin the unobtrusive functional aesthetic that i think that google is going for.

maybe I'm just used google's crap, but after using DDG for a week, I found that it gave results that i didnt want more often. Then again, maybe it is just the interface, Google has a cleaner interface IMO making it easier to see results. An
