Your idea is very nice! I’m going to try it but without the use of zapier, instead I’m going to use python’s smtpd lib to directly receive the emails and parse them. Thanks for sharing

From someone that has been using linux as his main OS since 2003, I tried to switch to mac once (used for one year) and had to work with a mac for approx. 4 years. As good as brew is, it is just not as good as having your distro package man

After years of using android I just moved from my galaxy s8 to an iphone xs max, and I was surprised to see that apple allows to uninstall most of their apps. What I usually did on my former samsung was to disable the apps I didn't nee

I did have the same problem, and apart from taking too long for dependency resolution it felt like breaking up at each update, sometimes from pipenv update, sometimes from pip update making pipenv breaking. I migrated to poetry and never be

My best advice would be: go to meetups, choose some languages that you would like to work with and attend to as many meetups as you can. It's an amazing place to meet like minded people and learn from theirs experiences.

Why not JVM? I'm asking because I'm starting to learn functional and I think Clojure is a very nice language to write both backend and frontend.

Unfortunately I couldn't find the bootable cd version for the intel management engine firmware and software updates. Mine is a thinkpad t460s.

I would guess it is because linux has a wider hardware support than bsds. As you're building a supercomputer it makes sense to have the faster hardware, implying they are new technology.

Fedora has been by far the most perfect out-of-the-box experience for my thinkpad machines: t460s and e430. It is stable, lightweight and it doesn't get in the way. I mainly use for python and go development, docker and browsing.

After the end of google reader I transitioned to digg reader and I'm very happy with it. It's clean and minimalist.

I couldn't figure out where I can change the different scaling for the external monitor on my fedora 25. My 1080p external monitor just looked huge comparing to my dell xps 13 hidpi display.

I had the same problem yesterday, I use fedora but we share the same pain missing this feature. It would be awesome to have this setting. Being able to set different scaling for external monitors is a must have feature.
