It’s already environmentally worse to buy a newly built electric car than it is to keep your current gas one (or buy a used one). The battery wear problem only makes this worse. The real solution is of course to heavily reduce our reliance

Venus needs a lot of work that Mars doesn’t. I think the main problem is the rotation period. The amount of energy required to speed up the day of planet is unthinkable.

I find that suggestion odd as well. I can't think of a single reason why Ubuntu should be favoured over Fedora as a quote "easy way to try and step into GNU/Linux" either. All three of their distro suggestions ship GNOME

I think much of it has to do with how old the city is. It’s about as old as New York City but didn’t have the same level of explosive growth, which I suspect gave it time to settle in and grow more like a European city. The somewhat limited
