Yeah I think there was massive fraud. It will be found out, but the legal system moves slowly. My hope is that all the key people involved will be available for extradition from whatever far-flung place they are likely to flee to soon.

Amazon's hallmark in the past has been investing big into businesses without immediate profits. Amazon gets massive revenue but has nowhere near the margins of an Apple, or Google. As you know, a net loss and revenue are not apples

I mostly agree with your comment. However I'll also say that Google, far more than any of the other tech titans, has a very long history of deeply supporting and embracing open source. It's part of the ethos, not just lip service.
