   I live where our treated water (if we were allowed to use the purple pipe) is cleaner by every metric than the white pipe. No one complained, yet the stated reason is the “ick” factor. I think (I hope?) it’s just old CW.

   It's probably this. If there is some other weakness in their system, I doubt anyone is allowed to tell you if we know. But Russia tends to exaggerate their capabilities to make people not trust their comms, too. fwiw, I was a 17 alpha.
