Mine removed the starter relay at night. (The car didn't have a distributor AFAIK, or if it did, it wasn't as accessible). This wasn't to foil thieves, it was to frustrate the repo man.

I think it’s harder to go 80–100 than it is from 60–80. I’m both cases, you need to stuff the same volume of additional air into the tank, but in the 80–100 case, the resistance to the stuffing is higher. At least I think that’s how it work
