As someone not from Europe (nor the US), this is literally the first time I've heard demoscene. After reading Wikipedia article I'm still a little bit confused. Could someone do a ELI5?

Wow, just realized Primitive Technology hasn't upload a new video for a year. Did he say something about it?

Could you elaborate a little bit? Just curious about the technical side of creating this cool application.

I think I know where you're confused: from the guide it looks like there is only a difference where you put -ss; but in reality, where you put -t/-to matters too. In my Python script, I did input seeking for -ss (start point) pa

Encoding settings metatag can be striped. Regardless, I don't think these software are "matching" anything. TMPGEnc for example has settings to choose what quality you want for these re-encoded frames.

Yeah, it is literally not possible to not seek to keyframe if you are stream copying. There are however, plenty of great software that can but at any frame and only re-encode the frames that are outside the whole GOP. Most of them are comme

I feel like their app (or method) is flawed in some way. It can't be that many phones have 300~400ms+ latency!?

We're talking about tap-to-audio-output latency though, so it has nothing to do with display part of the screen. And there is no "touch" on PC generally speaking.. input latency would be on mouse or keyboard. I think you'

I want to try these DNS-based blockers (AGH or Pi-hole) but am always wondering: is it easy to temporarily disable, or "debug" them? I have encountered multiple times (not common, but not trivial) that a filter blocks something wr

It doesn't disturb me unless he/she is a core dev of node.js. I mean, anyone can say anything they want. Not to mention it's likely a joke.

Probably a good place to ask: is there a reason why Wayback Machine's archives often take forever to load? Most of content on IA loads pretty fast, so WB is a notable exception.

Ah, got it. I just noticed 1.7.1 is already in CLIP's requirements.txt, weird that colab would still install 1.7.0 to begin with. Edit: I just realized 1.7.0 just came with colab, not installed by CLIP.
