I think I had issues even with mbstring, for some characters like "œ". But maybe I'm wrong.

I haven't touched PHP for a long time now. How is the Unicode support now? I remember having to use some special utilities to handle characters like "œ" properly.

I tend to agree with the article. What does WLS2 provides that a regular VM (VirtualBox for example) doesn't? Or a Docker container that I run with "C:" mounted as a volume?

I pick my subreddits and I never look at the default/popular ones. There are some topics/interests for which Reddit is still the place to be, sadly.

I remember how was Reddit 10 years ago... It was a very open and permissive place. Only very bad things were prohibited at that time (pedophilia, rape, murder, etc.). It is now ran by people/corporations with a political agenda.
