My in-laws have fried three different induction hobs boiling a kettle on them. Good quality brands too, they just can't seem to cope with frequently being set to max.

I asked this of our bat expert friend. Apparently not. The droppings, of which there won't be many for a small house, are quite dry and will naturally fall out of the opening.

I struggle to imagine someone actually living there. To me it looks like an art piece, and perhaps it is only intended as such. The PVC curtains seem particularly icky to me, reminding me of naff shower curtains and hospitals.

I stand corrected. There are still various other roads in Beckenham that are not inside a conservation area that are unadopted (and consequently in an absolute state).

Having had a VW bus all my life I can confirm they do get a lot of bugs, but far fewer these days. In the 80s my father used to try all manner of cleaning products to try and remove them but it's not such an issue any more.

In my experience Torx is not a good match for impact drivers. Pozidriv bits will far outlast Torx.
