I learned how to negotiate when someone linked to the famous kalzumeus software article on the subject. I've probably made tens of thousands of extra dollars in my life from it.

I took a taxi once in my life. He deliberately missed an exit to add 10 minutes to trip. I told him I was going to the hospital to meet my partner who had just been taken there by ambulance. I'm glad taxis are dying.

I'll take it over the billions of tons of pollution spewed into the atmosphere from other energy production where we have zero feasible way to materially remove any of it

The advice here to tell your employer and law enforcement is such an awful idea. They're more likely to target you and suspect you coordinated with them even if you didn't. HR and legal isn't there to help you - they're

You don't think it's in the public's interest to know that one of the two parties of our broken two party system is explicitly subverting a democratic process to get "their person" nominated? Given that getting nomi

>Assange is unprincipled enough that he'll say whatever Trump/the thugs running the West wants, so he can be freed. The fact that he didn't go with the pardon offer this very page is discussing suggests that this is wrong.

Their track record isn't about their expositions. It's about the integrity of the data they're leaking. They've never been fooled into leaking fake data, or data that had been tampered with.

You're missing the other obvious answer: he got the emails from someone directly at the DNC who wouldn't need a hacker. Assange has mentioned and discuss Seth Rich multiple times with the implication that he's somehow tied to

Thanks for this. It sounds very cool but very niche. Seems like you'd need to know the right person to get into this sort of work. Congratulations on all your success.

It's very telling that we had to create child labor laws. Someone had to be told that it was immoral and strictly forbidden from doing it.

The difference is that the mafia has never managed to extort and murder and then be told they did nothing wrong by law enforcement. The mafia also never attempted to make the law say they did nothing wrong (outside of small scale bribery or

It's not just HN and reddit. It's anyone who's not living alone in the woods. Class consciousness is thankfully becoming more prevalent, and these days how could you not notice: the rich get richer, the 99% is worse off, the

The short answer is you can't. The ability to fuck off because I hate my job has always been important to me, so I've always lived frugally, didn't have kids, never had an expensive wedding, etc. I have some cash in the bank

What is your job title, or what is it commonly called elsewhere? I'm desperately trying to get out of coding roles but hate just leaving my senior dev titles to rot and not help me in my next step.
