This is a cool concept but I'm not sure I'd fancy upskilling a team of SQL analysts to use this.

The constant moving of the Netflix "currently watching" pane is a huge annoyance for me, especially because it looks the same as every other pane ("horror films", "British comedy" etc). My grandma can't fi

I listen to albums, not songs, and looking at that playlist then there's a lot of stuff there that I've never listened to and have no desire to listen to. Spotify seems exceptionally bad at metal music and says "oh you listen

The Spotify app constantly frustrates me and I miss the old Google Play Music app. - I listened to 5 minutes of one episode of a podcast once, decided it wasn't for me and stopped, but ever since then I have an entire pane on my homepa

It's not much different - Pizza Express isn't anywhere near as posh as it thinks it is, and I'd bet the average spend per customer is lower thanks to the constant Tesco Clubcard deals.

Wagamama and Nando's are arguably the only two big casual dining chains that people actually enjoy eating at. All the others are pretty unpopular (and rightly so, the food is often terrible): Pizza Express, Frankie and Benny's, Pi

I don't like the overly-personal, almost condescending and childish tone. Why not just write normally? I can discuss and explore my feelings without being spoken to as though I'm on the edge of a mental breakdown and one strong wo

I bought an LG OLED recently after giving up on my dream of finding a dumb consumer OLED. I assumed I would disconnect it from my network and use my Chromecast for media, but instead I've recently unplugged the Chromecast. The interfac

Dumb valuation aside, Airbyte seems like it will wipe the floor with Fivetran and other pay-per-record data pipelining tools. Open source, decent community, you can host it yourself... Orders of magnitude cheaper.

Scotland wouldn't meet the criteria to join the EU - it's far too poor and small by itself. Exiting the UK would just isolate them more.

Scotland doesn't have England's immigration problems because immigrants generally don't want to go to Scotland. It's easy to be virtuous when the problem doesn't affect you.

I explicitly downvote videos that aren't directly relevant to what I want to keep seeing. This does mean that I often downvote videos that I've enjoyed, such as useful product reviews for something that I'm buying. This keeps

The way it works (generalising, read links for better info) is: 1. The landlord loses his long-standing tenant during lockdown because they can't afford rent anymore. 2. Instead of letting the shop go empty, the landlord creates their
