Nano tape seems interesting alright. If I am looking at the right stuff it uses van der Waals forces for adhesion rather than a traditional adhesive. Thats pretty cool, and re-useable if kept clean.

Agreed its quite old now, and for work I have to use the up to date standards as specified by the customer. However, as a pictoral reference the newer documents arent as clear for me, so this online database is still very useful.

I hadbt consudered a stuck locking helicoil in fairness. And seeing the pictures of the fasteners it does seem unlikely to be an access issue, so you are probably right about the torque.

From what I can see the TAGSAM head did use stainless steel screws, but the majority of the structure is aluminium [1]. So its possible there is a galvanic corrosion issue that caused the screws to bind, but I would be a little surprised at
