I think Puerto Rico stands a lot to gain from these changes. Residents and businesses here file taxes with PR's Hacienda, not the IRS, therefore Section 174 doesn’t affect PR as far as I know. On top of that, PR already has several tax

PyCon 2024 May 17-19 (ish). Went in 2023 for the first time and found it simply amazing. This year it’s in Pittsburg. Also a fantastic place to get a job for anyone looking.

It's a legal term that hasn't caught up to modern standards as that word still implies a physical need to return your vehicle for service. When in reality it's the same as a forced security update on your phone or PC.

As an unfit person who doesn't work out, I was considering getting the Mad Muscles app because I got a ton of ads for it and it seemed to fit me well. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but if you're looking for users like me,

Whoa Peer to Peer connections with strangers is scary stuff that almost no one would volunteer for. I get the bandwidth reasons to do it but everyone should know this is peer to peer before connecting and know the risks of being hacked

Thanks for posting this as I learned about Grid and it looks really interesting. I wonder how exactly do you name this category of spreadsheet app for SEO purposes? When i search top spreadsheet apps or Excel alternatives, apps like yours d

I’m the same way. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose. I need to write down my thoughts for everything on paper, sticky notes or drawing boards if I want to be sure that Ive thought about it well enough. I find most people don’

Just want to mention that I've searched many names with Porkbun and Cloudflare Registrar recently and they haven't done this, so maybe try with either of those for future reference.

Surprising that no one said this but receiving email is as easy as setting up mail forwarding in the DNS records with the domain registrar. Just Google how to do it with your registrar and you are set. Shouldn’t have any cost at all.

As a faithful user of micro for the last couple of years, just know that its one of the first things I install in a new system along with the fish shell, especially in servers I have to manage via console. Thank you so much for your work!

A while ago I picked up Fanatical Prospecting as an audiobook and I would recommend it if you’re getting started. Its all about the mindset needed to thrive in sales. One thing it will do is help you decide if sales is for you.

Similar to SimpleLogin, BurnerMail.io has been pretty good. Its a bit of a pain on mobile as you have to use the website, but its worth the lack of spam for sure.

They don’t mention email 2fa in the page. Is that considered insecure now? Would be really nice for people like me who don’t install the app because i don’t want every link to GH to open there.

Check out Hydra for Postgres, its an extension to create columnar tables for data warehouse type of analytics. Disclaimer: I’m associated with them as they sell managed services, but the extension is open source.

Zoho has a great free tier email hosting with custom domain and the cheapest paying tier I’ve found. Been using it for years without a problem. The first paying tier allows for IMAP/POP, while the free tier only allows webmail access.

Wow. It’s unfortunate that so many programmers dedicate their time to breaking systems like this all for spam. It’s pathetic the lengths we have to go to protect even the most basic parts of systems like sign up forms.
