Interesting - kind of reminds me of a site a friend built a few years ago. It was a resume site with contact info hidden. In order to contact you the recruiter had to pay you - at whatever price you put on a contact (usually a buck or two).

I'm on Xubuntu 12.04 and don't seem to have any of these problems. Unlike Windows, where you are stuck with the corporate decisions, Ubuntu still provides many options if you don't like the flagship distro.

Twitter sort of hides the RSS links, and last time I checked did not provide any documentation on how to find them. But they are there and you can access Twitter feeds via RSS once you figure out the URL pattern.
