Perhaps a periodic page refresh would work around the issue. Then that brings up another question, is any part of the gif cached by the browser or downstream proxies / web accelerators?

Yet another reason to love Github. I'm running out of love guys, seriously, knock off all this "do cool stuff" BS. ;) Does this also apply to high school students? My oldest attends a STEM high school here in Seattle, and this would be exce

I had this distraction when I was working from home for two years, wife and three kids. I love them dearly, but they can be a huge distraction. The best thing you can do here is to lock yourself in a room, or go out to a coffee shop, or the

This is awesome. I'm not sure my non-geek wife would like it, but I would have. Many people wear their rings in the shower, or even just washing their hands. I wonder how it stands up to water damage.

No, I haven't really, but this doesn't surprise me either. I have a feeling that Amazon is doing the same thing with their Android app store.

I wonder if this is a re-thinking on what they want to do with Google Checkout, as it hasn't really been taking off in the commerce realm since it's initial release.

Yeah, I can be a cheap ass about this kind of stuff, but I do pay for some of their services already. However, I do think there is an area of need here for low income folks / students who cannot afford even $5-10/month.
