   This is exactly the workflow I have been using for a couple of years now. I'm not sure that labeling it "simple" is accurate, but it is generally easier to understand than some other workflows I've seen.

    I've also found that the gist support on Android GitHub is poor. Hopefully this will improve in the future. The nice thing about GitHub is that they listen to feedback. Most likely someone there is reading these comments.

    This is a nice idea. Gists are also cloneable, giving you the the power of git and any tooling that you want to use to update your list. Also, come on people, you all know that "Best" is subjective. This is the best tool for this

    Me too. Technically you don't buy a copy of a movie from Amazon in this way, you're buying a conditional license to watch the movie. What you said is true. If you cannot resell your copy, you don't actually own it.

    We go through a lot of the same crud. The latest is they cannot push out IE 10 / 11 to everyone because it would require server upgrades (which is true, but very lame). :/
