   IntelliJ also looks like shit. It has its own toolkit and the same horrible font rendering as any other swing program. If you want your IDE to be pretty, try Eclipse.

   And without the security benefits of proper virtualisation, too. At least lxc since recently has the ability to run containers as a regular user, but I'll stick to KVM guests secured with MLS policies for now.

   There are ways around having to apply a patch 20 times, too. Libraries and git submodules to name a few. Secondly, if you use 20 version control systems, you're doing it horribly, horribly wrong.

    Fedora isn't much better, Monodevelop is stuck at 2.8.8.4 even. Luckily there's an OpenSUSE repository mentioned elsewhere in this discussion which has CentOS/Debian/Fedora/Ubuntu in it as well.

    I'm trying to do that for a small community site but I find the documentation a bit lacking. I know I have to create a directory somewhere and write a web.config in XML but I'm still figuring out the rest. I may end up copying som
