this is a horrible idea. there is no case where you're able to generate an ssh key and can't take the public key with you. you have a clipboard, and an email address.

Great post. I once cut a 10min query to a few seconds by changing a few joins to be subqueries which ran like a map/reduce in the db (prod data vs theoretical). ORMs are great in some cases, and the cause of pain in others.
