Teslas are literally the least stolen car in USA and often retrieved when they are stolen. It's partly the built-in tracking, partly the PIN to drive feature, and partly that its parts market is weak for various reasons.

It's true that security bugs are being fixed in most Chrome releases. However, these seem to be much more obscure and/or hard to capitalize on compared to the Flash bugs. I admit I don't have a proof of that.

Those sites have had 5-10 years' warning. Some things need to die and the benefit to everyone outweighs the needs of a few. If Flash wasn't killed then people keep writing for it.

And Flash was proprietary. And its behavior was opaque. And it didn't mesh at all with the rest of your browser/website experience, as it was an embedded thing.

No, because JavaScript isn't nearly the bug factory that Flash was. Literally every month there was a new Flash full compromise bug, for multiple years.

I disagee about 240Hz for VR. Who is saying that? Oculus hasn't said it and they know more about practical VR than anybody.

I have a MacBook Pro and a Lenovo Yoga and while other PC laptops I've had over 15 years were clearly worse than the Apple, the Yoga feels on par hardware-wise. What could I be missing? My only complaint is that the WiFi driver for it

Monitor resolution and frame rate inflation seem to have endpoints at 4K or 8K and 144Hz. Scene detail still has some way to go before diminishing returns and so that will consume years of hardware evolution. I agree with you in principle b
