Rift S could do hand tracking better than Quest, but it requires a separate effort that isn't currently a high priority. Source: I worked on it at Oculus.

I agree, though on the other hand reddit posters are notorious for being angry haters of anybody that has more than them, especially corporations, and greatly over-represent perceived negative aspects of them.

Seems like it would take a long time to grind. I can imagine targeting something shallower but not getting it right and keep fixing it and end up with a deeper lens.

Author's point about blogs is that Twitter, Instagram, etc aren't blogs and that's what he wants. Author's failure is that he is wrong, as blogs do still exist, including the Blogger service.

Yeah people here are dumping on it for being non-performance-optimal while ignoring that higher performing versions have restrictions and design limitations. unordered_map is fast enough for probably 98% of uses, and the other 2% may be bet

Even worse than int is long. So much old Unix code that was (incorrectly) using long to store pointer-sized types got broken on other 64 bit platforms.

Same thing happened with Microsoft. Theirs got killed supposedly because it didn't run Windows (which of course is a bad idea for a handheld device).
