Agree with this. Whenever I go to a city, I tend to leave my car in burbs and public transport in (Cal train when going to SF and Go Train when going to Toronto). Bring a car into the city is a hassle with parking and associated costs. Ever

Ok so lets do the math. Age 22, graduated and making 100K USD. After tax this is about 70K. Rent on the low end is 15000 a year, food is about 5000, and a car is about 4000. Assume you spend nothing else, you ae left over with 46000 dollars
