The photos look exactly as I'd imagine they should, i.e. if the grid is providing 20% of the color of the original, the result looks 20% as colorful... I'm not sure I get what's "magical" about this?

Yeah, I don't know about working from "anywhere in the world"... I'm sure there's places without good internet, etc... that would make that difficult or impossible. I can say one thing about it after being 100% WFH
