I didn't read the article but in my experience, 80% of the application are parts that you rarely touch, config stuff and "LEFT JOIN" stuff. There is always one or two parts where all data comes together and that is the heart

Back in the day, Bitnami was a way to run Wordpress on Windows. They packaged it nicely so that you could install it on Windows Server. Nowdays that could get you fired, but back then Linux was not so widespread.
