Yeah, cool, let's all just stop using encryption for sensitive customer data so we more easily can catch the least sophisticated criminals who don't figure out how to do it themselves. Let's also make it crystal clear to the more sophisticated criminals that they do, in fact, need to do it themselves. Giving the FBI an easy way to put small time drug dealers in their pocket should obviously be a top priority of software companies. I will vote for any politician who will tell these people to go fuck themselves.
