- Someone1234 11y agoWhich makes sense when you consider the 20% "sales tax" (VAT) and the fact that it is included in the price, and not just at the checkout like in the US. A $2500 machine even in the US might cost $2,700 after tax in the US (depending on your state's sales tax % and if Apple has to pay it).
