Personally I find Facebook much more complicated to use than Twitter. Ever since I started using Twitter I use it all the time and I can go days without checking my Facebook account. Having said that, I do agree with your statement regarding friends having accounts that don't use them. I have a hard time convincing people to create a Twitter account.
