I've often wondered about this, but never knew there was a term for it. In the past, I've been in situations that I probably shouldn't have lived to talk about and often wondered if I really did make it out alive. Or did my perception of reality diverge from the dimension I was in and continue in a dimension where I defied the odds and lived.
