It looks nice, but, serious question, is there a reason why the UI in all screenshots is so dark and completely lacks contrast? I really couldn't look at black text or dark blue text on a dark background all day :/
Examples of what I mean:

- kyberias 11y agoThat alone makes the program entirely unusable.
- SwellJoe 11y agoI thought there was some sort of CSS overlay or something gone awry. But, seeing some of the images with the pd window being all white makes it clear that the color scheme is just ridiculous.
- ne0phyte 11y agoI even thought the images might be corrupted, saved them and opened them locally haha. It really is an awful colorscheme and I wonder how anyone could think that's usable.
- agumonkey 11y agoUnless they hardcoded the color scheme, this won't be an issue for long.
- ne0phyte 11y agoIt's still weird to showcase a project with what is quite a strain to the eyes for most people.
- agumonkey 11y agoWho knows, maybe the web team messed up with the image post processing step and coders aren't aware of the error yet.
- Gracana 11y agoYeah, it's all editable. http://i.imgur.com/8pJMhCb.png http://i.imgur.com/8pJMhCb.png
- agumonkey 11y agoAhh, finally something tasty.
- ne0phyte 11y agoAh, nice. I was just looking through the github repo and found some config files for qt with color schemes. And yet my question stands: Why present a project like that?
- Gracana 11y agoMaybe it's good for live performances in darkened nightclubs.
- socceroos 11y agoBecause the team is primarily developers, not designers? That's my best guess... its quite common amongst open source projects (although this is becoming increasingly rare).
- buovjaga 11y agoThe team is one person in this case. Project started in 1999.
- anigbrowl 11y agoZe goggles, zey do nothing!
- haddr 11y agoIt's a bit like text editors before the "solarized" theme ;) Anyway looks like a good piece of software!
- gosub 11y agoI think the inspiration is the original theme of Jeskola Buzz http://cdn7.atwikiimg.com/buzzusers?cmd=upload&act=open&pageid=15&file=PVST(i)_teaching2.jpg http://cdn7.atwikiimg.com/buzzusers?cmd=upload&act=open&page...
- pierrec 11y agoBuzz is great. It's still being developed (the core as well as dedicated plugins) and doesn't really look like this anymore, being now very themable: https://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&q=theme+site:jeskola.net https://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&q=theme+site:jeskola.... More of a classical tracker than Radium, but it also has lots of unique features.
