The killer feature here is something that no one is talking about!
>We've included a soft silicone band with each Pebble Time, but all standard 22mm watch bands will fit. All new Pebble watch bands include a quick-release pin, letting you swap bands in under 10 seconds.
Standard watch bands is something that most other wearables aren't embracing. This makes the Pebble significantly more enticing.
- pauly 12y agothink the original pebble used a standard watch band. steel did not (which I just bought a week ago, gah)
- mbrubeck 12y agoYes, the original Pebble works with any standard 22m band.

- mikestew 12y agoMy original KS Pebble uses a regular band that I got off Amazon for $12. I'm not much of one for swapping bands regularly, but putting on a band of my choosing is not a great feature, it's just what I expect out of a watch. It's like telling time is a "killer feature". I'm more disappointed when other wearables (including the Pebble Steel) don't have this.
- bergie 12y agoSome of the Android Wear devices support standard 22mm bands as well. I had a custom one on my LG G Watch, but am staying with the stock band with the Moto 360 (since the one it shipped with is actually quite nice)
- lnanek2 12y agoI bought a replacement metal band for my Galaxy Gear. No clue if it was standard, but certainly replaceable.
- ntkachov 12y agoThis is false. The Asus ZenWatch, moto360, LG G Watch, LG G watch R all use standard 22mm bands.
- hammerandtongs 12y agoThe fact that standard bands can be used is great. The fact that most watch bands are painfully incompatible with <insert your laptop here> wristrests is laughable in this day and age. Watchbands need to be reengineered if these companies want people to wear them for more then the first few weeks. Source -- love my pebble but only after suffering with that stupid buckle for months, stopped wearing it and then finally found a buckle free band.
