Just as a single data counterpoint, my recruiting experience with Netflix was below par. It may have been the way that I was approached (from a friend who was also an engineer) . However, the 'process' took over 3 months to get nowhere. After many re-schedulings and me having to restart the process myself, I just gave up. Never heard from them after I had given up, either.
