Right or wrong, many people that I've worked with view the 10-minute morning stand-up meeting as a "starting function" for their day. This would completely break that function of a stand-up. I'm also not too fond of anything that would cause people to work later in the evening. The one problem I see this potentially fixing is the feeling of forgetting everything you did over the weekend.
