Fuel costs are not increasing. Shipping across oceans is extremely cheap. Way more more manufacturing is moving US -> China, than the opposite.
- happyscrappy 12y agoFuel costs are temporarily down because Europe's economy is so weak, but I wouldn't count on fuel staying this low. Also Chinese labor is not such a bargain as wages rise.
- Chronic29 12y agoWhether it is temporary or not, at the moment, shipping is cheap and jobs are leaving the United States.
