  Many people would be absolutely happy to pay for the TV series they'd like to watch. However, they simply cannot, they are not available in their country and most of them simply never will, not even years after the original release. So it's not _that_ simple.

  And you are totally positively confident that I can actually pay for stuff? I'm not sure what is your taste, but majority of the movies I want to watch are unavailable in any shop I know.
