In an age where everyone carries a computer in their pocket, the metric system's only advantage (that it makes converting units easier) is irrelevant.
- stephen_g 12y agoConversions being easier is nice, but the main advantage of the metric system is that it is a set of properly standardised units that the rest of the world uses... Having a computer in your pocket is never going to change that.
