I think what you're trying to say is that you're sick of people misusing or otherwise applying GOF patterns without thinking about them. Being 'sick of GOF patterns' is something entirely different.
- bgun 12y agoNot entirely different. If a thing is so consistently misused as to controvert its original purpose, it's fair to say you're "sick of X" as a proxy for its community or educational standards or other meta-application. I don't agree with the author's approach either, but I don't think he's trying to say what you think.
