I guess that's cool if you want to live in an airplane. But, for $220k??? He could have built a nice home instead. I'm kind of dismayed this didn't turn out to be an expose on frugal living.

- knodi123 12y agoWhy would any of those parts be worth anything? I don't think they'd retire these without a good reason... And engines take SO much maintenance, if it sat in the outdoors for very long I can imagine how it might be more trouble to refurbish than buying one that's still in service. Ditto wings etc.
