So is this basically a TI Chipcon 2500 + Contiki + and a small ARM linux box acting as gateway? Are you just making Zigbee hardware API calls - or custom firmware? Are you a part of the Zigbee aliance? How did that effect development? As for claims of range, I'm impressed. Since 2010 onward my startup has built various configurations of Zigbee networks (some >100sq km) - but only saw a max reliable range of 4km (rooftop of 4th floor, clear line of sight, 1W)...which prompted experiments in moving things down to 433Mhz. Just curious what magic is going on....
