It's out in Monroeville next to a concrete factory -- but fantastic south indian food. Definitely worth the drive.
- benburton 12y agoThanks for the recommendation. I'll definitely check it out!
- kibwen 12y agoAh, I'm glad someone beat me to suggesting Udipi! Everything there is lovely, and I've never seen anyone else make puri (the fried balloon bread) as spectacularly large as they do. Probably the best Indian food that I've had in Pittsburgh, though Tamarind (http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/23/271746/restaurant/Oakland/Tamarind-Flavor-of-India-Pittsburgh http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/23/271746/restaurant/Oakland/Tam...) in Oakland has an amazingly affordable lunch buffet.
