Interesting timing with WWDC coming up. Possible that Apple have been listening and present something new to make all these custom jobs redundant. I'm hoping they do, as a developer who also has rolled a few custom sync solutions to avoid iCloud , we'd all be better off if the OS handled the dirty work properly
