Employees should be highly valued.
Inadvertantly you've highlighted another problem with having cofounders, especially in a startup- you have an intrinsic clique of inner circle people, the founders.

"I think its kinda arrogant to say that founders are superior..." intentional or not given the semi-bitter tone of your main post, that's the impression that I thought you were trying to make
