Myself and a couple friends have been working on this for 2 months now, just got transcoding stable (we think) in the last couple days. Early tests show it's very capable of handling 720p video + audio in realtime We're using Chrome's Native Client (NaCl), some Chrome socket stuff and of course FFmpeg. Happy to answer any tech/non-tech questions!
